Whistleblowing Introduction
In compliance with Legislative Decree No. 24/2023, and in order to counter conduct or events that may constitute a violation of laws or regulations (national or European Union) and to protect the public interest and the integrity of the organization itself, BMPEUROPE S.R.L. has established a portal for reporting unlawful conduct, accessible by clicking on the button right here.
The Portal
The portal allows the reporter to proceed with a report either anonymously or by providing their personal details, guaranteeing the confidentiality of the identity of the reporter, the person involved, and anyone mentioned in the report, as well as the content of the report itself.
The service does not employ tracking logs in order to prevent the potential identification of a reporter who wishes to remain anonymous.
For more information regarding its operation, please consult the following operational guidelines.
Reports
Upon registration of a report, the service will issue the reporter a unique 16-digit identification code (report receipt), which is necessary to access the report at a later time and for any potential interaction with the DESIGNATED MANAGER.
Reports must be made in good faith and be substantiated with information that is as precise as possible to ensure they are easily verifiable. They are handled by a specifically trained DESIGNATED MANAGER and are treated with the utmost discretion and confidentiality to protect the reporter from any risk of retaliation or repercussion.
Within 7 days of the submission date, an acknowledgment of receipt will be provided to the reporter through the portal.
Within a maximum of 3 months, further information will follow, again through the portal, until the conclusion of the investigation into the reported event.
Protection and Liability of the Reporter
No retaliation or discrimination, direct or indirect, may be exercised against anyone who has made a report in good faith. In accordance with current legislation, sanctions are provided for those who violate the measures protecting the reporter.
Please be advised that in the event of reports made with willful misconduct or gross negligence, or those that prove to be false, unfounded, defamatory, or otherwise made for the sole purpose of damaging the Company, the reported person, or parties concerned by the report, the entity may take appropriate legal action.
